A BIG POINTLESS LIST

Because everyone loves lists and I'm a vain fucktard who just can't stop rattling on about himself.

The three new records, these are details, I'm not gonna put this stuff in the liner notes, so I'm just gonna write them down here, for FUN, yes, everyone loves a little FUN now and again don't they?
Disclaimer: Not actually fun.

HYPER VAPOUR:
Recorded in November 2009 by Michal William in the basement of the firestation on badass 8track on secondhand tapes (with accidental bleeds now and again from the not-quite deleted previous tracks, listen carefully and you can hear a stirring midi rendition of "Every Breath You Take" by the police at the fade of one of the tracks, you can also hear the tailend of some other genius 80s guff right at the end of the disc, if your ears give a slight toss)

Sounds like some wrongended soundtrack to an imaginary sci fi film from 1968 about giant robotic birds fighting tanks made of gas, or something else like that, I dunno.

Stuff used: Clarinet, trumpet, contact mic, saxophone, hulusi, harshp, tapes, guitars, drums, Korg micropreset monosynth. Various pedals and some vox too I think.

TLENTIFINI MAARHAYSU:
Recorded in January 2010 by James "Oh God No" King at J&J's Studio. Mastered by Daniel "Fnar" Bennet in his living room

Ramped up noisy psyche/kraut molestations.

Stuff used: Drums, Drum edits, tapes, harshp, vox, FX, Yamaha DX-7 synthesizer, Hammond organ, percussives, metal sheet, gongs, piano, guitars, bass guitars, casio keyboard, buddha box with batteries dying.

MEGA ZONE:
Recorded in June 2010 by Captain Michal C William in the same place and that as Hyper Vapour, except on shiny new tapes

Mega basic setup, used 2x stacks and one twin, recorded mostly as one live take with a couple of overdubs. Existential harsh as yr uncle power electronics with gloopy drones and added blissed out vitamins.

Stuff used:
(Live take) Cymbal, contact mic, vox, FX, violin, sampler
(Overdubs) Vox, Bugbrand Postcard Weevil synth
Indie Pop gigasensation Grace Denton from the Middle Ones came in and added some worried monged snake vocals at the end and they are very nice indeed.
